Dr. Stacy Jones
Dr. Stacy grew up on a farm in Le Sueur, Minnesota. She was very active in 4-H and showing horses, as well as caring for dairy and beef cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, and rabbits. Becoming a veterinarian came naturally after caring for her family's farm animals through the years. By growing up in her dad's Ski-Doo snowmobile shop, she learned how to run a small business successfully.
Dr. Stacy graduated from North Carolina State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She received the Swine Student of the Year Award during veterinary school, and also made a student presentation at the American Association of Swine Practitioners' (AASP) annual meeting. She traveled to the Netherlands with the Student Chapter of AASP to learn more about swine operations.
After graduation, Dr. Stacy gained valuable experience while working in Wendell, North Carolina, from mentors Dr. Bob and Dr. Jim Meyer.
Dr. Stacy enjoys country music, being outdoors, the Outer Banks, Nashville, and spending time with her llamas, rescued cats and dogs, and African Gray parrot.
